You Can Actually Opt Out Of The Bullshit!

You can build a company without buying into the bullshit. You can build a startup without being a “thought leader” and without diving deep into buzzwords and hype.

You can opt out of all the crap that doesn’t relate to building a product, finding a customer, and keeping that customer happy. Because at the end of the day, nothing else really matters.
At the end of the day, nothing else is really all that important.
I used to be that person, who made startups their only priority. I used to be that person who had to be everywhere, all the time. I used to be that person, who barely spent any time working on the actual running of a company. I was too busy…🙄
If you choose not to be involved in all of the stuff that we’ve convinced each other startup founders have to do, every single networking event, every single panel, every overblown, overpriced, over inflated and over hyped conference, if you choose not to be involved in content creation that lacks any sense of authenticity — you can actually still make it.
Opting out doesn’t mean dropping out, and it doesn’t mean failing.
